What is Engine Oil?

Engine Oil is the life Blood of your Engine. Oil quality has improved over the Years. 70-90 percent of Engine Oil is Base Stock made from Natural Gas or Crude Oil. The other 10 to 30 percent is Oil Additives to improve function and longevity. Modern Engine Oils have a lot of Science that goes into their Development. Engine Oil do much more than lubricate. The Engineered Additives will help maintain the Oil's viscosity over varying temperatures. Also reduces Friction, that help protect Engines moving Parts. Full Synthetic Engine Oil is a more refined engineering process of Base Oil Stock. What is the difference between Convention Oil and Synthetic Oil? Synthetic Oils Molecules are more Uniform in Size and Shape. Under Extreme Temperatures Synthetic Oil performs better and produces less oxidation. Engine oil has only so much Capacity to suspend Contaminants. A by product of Engine Combustion is Contaminants. If the Oil has reached it's Capacity of Contaminants. The Contaminants start to accumulate it produces Sludge. The Sludge the Cause Excessive Engine Wear. Regular Oil Changes will help to prevent Sludge Build up.
